Academics Take Metros To School In PDL Season Opener

Jose Ramos scored a goal in the 49th minute, then assisted Ederson Lopes on another score three minutes later as the Bradenton Academics shut out the Nashville Metros, 4-0, Thursday in the season debut for both teams in the United Soccer Leagues Premier Development League at IMG Soccer Academy in Bradenton, FL.

Happy Hall and Jonathan Courtois also added goals for the Academics.

Bradenton travels Saturday to Panama City, FL to face the Panama City Pirates while Nashville stays in the Sunshine State Saturday to meet the Central Florida Kraze in Sanford, FL.
