Girls Invitational Tournament hosted at IMG Academies!
Welcome to the IMG Cup, a tournament hosted for girls elite soccer teams. Located at IMG Academies, Bradenton, Florida IMG Cup will provide the very best field and facility services available for players and parents. Competition will be premium and based at the world best Multi-sport campus. Each team will experience our professional environment that has developed professionals in many sports.
IMG Cup – Girls’ Invitational Tournament
April 1st – April 3rd, 2011
Competition will be premium, and we will only host a hand selected 32 teams in the tournament to ensure maximum game conditions. The tournament will be held on the beautiful IMG Academies campus, which will include a brand new, state-of-the-art nine field soccer complex.
IMG Cup Age Groups:
Two 40-minute halves will be played with each team playing a minimum of four (4) games and two brackets per age group. The 4th game will be the team’s final league position game of the eight teams entered.
- U15 Girls – 8 teams
- U16 Girls – 8 teams
- U17 Girls – 8 teams
- U18 Girls – 8 teams
IMG Cup will include:

College Coaches and Professional Scouts
College coaches from around the United States and professional scouts consider IMG Soccer Academy as a premier academy to develop and host soccer programs. IMG Cup will offer the very best competition and the opportunity for coaches and scouts to view talented players from around the world. As an additional benefit, IMG Soccer will host a golf tournament on the premises for college coaches to attend as an introduction to the tournament.
Pre-tournament training
IMG Soccer Academy will provide the opportunity for teams to attend prior to the tournament to train and practice. Have your team acclimatize to the environment and Florida sun to prepare for a successful weekend. Three day to one week programs are available for field rental. 
Accommodations
To insure the quality of service provided at the 2010 IMG Cup, the IMG Soccer Academy has partnered with THE TOURNAMENT OFFICE as the official Hospitality Service of the tournament. All teams needing accommodations are Required to book hotel reservations through THE TOURNAMENT OFFICE to insure their place in the tournaments. Team Registration
Team registration will begin Thursday evening at IMG Academies Country Club. Teams will arrives and check in to complete registration process. Head coaches’ mandatory meeting will be Thursday evening at IMG Academies Golf Country Club. All teams should make their travel plans accordingly.
Application Entry Fee and Deadline:
The IMG Cup tournament entry fee is $900/team. Discounts will be made for multiple teams attending from one soccer organization. The entry fee deadline is November 1st, 2010.
All teams must submit an application form to gain entry into the tournament. IMG Soccer Academy & Tournament Board will review all applications and notify the team of its status as soon as possible.
Upon acceptance into the tournament, team entry fee must be paid in full immediately to guarantee a spot. Entry fees are non-refundable. In the event a team must withdraw from the tournament, you must notify IMG Soccer Academy Tournament Board in writing at least 30 days prior to the tournament date, and you will be allowed to transfer your entry fee to a future IMG Soccer event.
