For IMG Academies athletes enrolled in a full-time program or weekly program, IMG Academies in Bradenton, Florida, has a wide range of on-campus student accommodations. Boarding students benefit athletically, academically, culturally, and emotionally through living and training in a positive, supervised, athlete-centered environment.
Student life at IMG Academies is a melting pot of cultures, personalities, skills, and interests, with over 80 different countries represented on campus. Our staff is 100% committed to the security, well being and development of our students, working hard to provide an array of activities that grow and challenge them to embrace diverse opportunities in life.
Activities
Off-campus extra-curricular activities include trips to local beaches, Florida theme parks like Walt Disney World and Busch Gardens, Tampa Bay Lightning/Rays games, movies, bowling, plays, theatre, concerts and much more. The Student Rec Center is available for students to congregate, enjoy the pool, watch movies, play games, participate in dances, concerts, Wii tournaments and other scheduled events, poolside.
Student Council
The Student Council at IMG Academies serves as the student leadership group that provides a voice for the student body, while promoting self-confidence, leadership, teamwork and dedication. The Student Council:
- Works as a liaison between administration, faculty, department heads and fellow peers in an effort to make positive change and improvements to the campus
- Serves as an ambassador in welcome new and prospective students
- Meets weekly with the Director of Student Services, Community Services Coordinator, Activity Coordinator and other department leaders to discuss upcoming projects, events, community outreach services, campus life and problem solving.
Clubs, Arts & Music
Our student-athletes aren't confined to just the athletic environment and classroom. IMG Academies student-athletes can also choose to participate in clubs or activities that focus on student government and all types of art, music and performing arts. We know that talent comes in all forms, and we want you to take advantage of all the extracurricular activities available to ensure that you maximize your time at IMG Academies.

Jared Vock is an IMG Soccer Academy Alumni having attended the Academy as a full-time student from 1999-2001, coming from Plymouth, MI. Jared graduated from the Academy in 2001 and received a full-scholarship to the University of South Florida and went on to finish his college eligibility at LeMoyne College. Since arriving at the IMG Soccer Academy as a full-time coach, Jared has worked with players of all ages and abilities; the players he has coach range in age from 12 all the way to the 18 year-old USDA players. Jared started his full-time coaching career at the age of 22 under the tutelage of previous IMG Soccer Director, Tom Durkin.
By any measure of success – from players produced to team success to number of college scholarships earned – the IMG Soccer Academy has proven itself as the nation’s best. Since its inception in 1994, the Academy has continually developed some of the country’s best players while also putting the caliber of teams on the field that can successfully compete in any tournament against any team at any time.
