The IMG Soccer Academy's post-graduate program, sometimes referred to as a prep year, is for the student-athlete looking for an extra year to become more physically, mentally or academically prepared for college. It allows high school graduates an environment to continue their athletic development and provides the academic resources to prepare for college entrance exams and/or take courses for college credit to get a head start on the competition.
Student-athletes participate in three morning sessions per week with specialized individual attention from the IMG Soccer Academy coaching staff and resume in the afternoon with the Academy program. Training consists of individual, position-specific drill work, scrimmages and off-field Physical and Mental Conditioning with IMG Performance Institute specialists. Additionally, student-athletes receive mentorship and guidance in the college recruitment and selection process.
The IMG Soccer Academy's post-grad program combines the ultimate mix of training and classroom work to address the academic, technical, physical, mental, nutritional, and sport-specific athleticism necessary to expand college options and become THE TOTAL STUDENT-ATHLETE.
Post-Grad Academics
It's equally as crucial for post-grad student-athletes to continue their academic development while evolving athletically. Currently, there are two academic options, the IMG Pendleton School, which is located on the IMG campus and the State College of Florida, which is within walking distance. Enrollment into the IMG Pendleton School will allow you to improve your academic profile and SAT scores, further develop study and writing skills, and take Advanced Placement coursework – which can lead to college credit. Enrollment in SCF offers you the opportunity to earn college credit and gives you a true taste of college life on a part-time basis.
With a variety of courses available, encouraging instructors and an accommodating schedule, you'll enter college fully prepared academically and athletically.

PERFORMANCE ELECTIVES
THE TOTAL ATHLETE is someone who maximizes his or her full potential across all dimensions of performance. Someone who refuses to sacrifice academics for athletics — or vice versa.
Becoming THE TOTAL ATHLETE, however, takes time and commitment. The earlier a student-athlete enrolls at IMG Academies during his or her prep years, the more time they will have to learn, grow, develop and experience all that IMG Academies has to offer, helping them become confident that they can take on the world during their journey through life.
