Post Grad Academics
The University and Language Center (ULC) coordinates the post graduate academic program. A post graduate year is an additional year after high school graduation. Students benefit from a post graduate year for many reasons including an extra year to mature physically and mentally, to improve one’s academic profile, and enhance athletic ability to earn a collegiate scholarship. All post-graduate students are required to participate in our College Planning Seminar to guide students through the admissions & recruitment process.
IMG Pendleton Intensive English Post Graduate Year: Designed for International students that have graduated high school in their home country and need to improve their level of academic reading and writing in English. Students prepare to take the TOEFL exam which is required by most U.S. colleges and universities for non-native English speakers.
IMG Pendleton Post Graduate Year: A comprehensive academic program designed to complement the rigorous athletic schedule at IMG Academies. Students can challenge themselves academically with honors and A.P. courses to improve their academic profile while improving their athletic ability. International students can receive the Form I-20 to apply for an F-1 Student Visa. This is the preferred option for students interested in the most selective universities.
University Post Graduate Year: Students can begin the transition to college by earning credits through IMG Academies’ university partner, the University of South Florida. Courses are designed to easily transfer and satisfy requirements at most U.S. colleges and universities as well as to further develop students reading and writing skills.
