3-Week December/January Camps
The IMG Soccer Academy 3-Week December/January Boys Soccer Camps are a proven success to help players significantly improve in all aspects of their game by focusing on both the technical and tactical elements of productive soccer.
Players attend IMG Soccer Academy from around the world to develop and improve their individual skills and team play because of the Academy's experienced staff, facilities and inspiring training environment.
Soccer Camp Details:
- For athletes ages 10-19 of all ability levels
- One session available: January 15-February 4
- Includes drilling, strategy sessions, and competitive scrimmages
- Two camp options available: Core and THE TOTAL ATHLETE (see below)
- Position-specific instruction
- Five-and-a-half days training per week
- 3-a-day Training sessions
o Morning: Individual & skill acquisition
o Afternoon: Small-sided development
o Evening: Scrimmages and competitive games - Full evaluation mailed after camp to your home
- Identification on level of player through the camp

Three-Week Camps + TOEFL training (ages 16 and up)
Half-day of core sport camp plus 3 hours per day of TOEFL training for student-athletes preparing for English proficiency exams. Student-athletes will focus on academic listening, speaking, reading and writing. For more information regarding the TOEFL 3-week camps, click here.
Details:
- Intermediate or Advanced English speakers only.
- Prepares student-athletes for the TOEFL test that measures the ability to use and understand English at the university level (used by more than 8,000 colleges and institutions in more than 130 countries, as well as immigration departments and licensing agencies).
- Focuses on reading and writing proficiency.
- Includes three complete practice TOEFL tests.
- Allows for only morning sports participation in the boys soccer program. Afternoons are for classroom work.
Three-Week Camps + ESL classes (ages 10 -19)
Half-day of core sport camp plus 3 hours per day of English as a Second Language classes. This program is designed for short-term campers and does not qualify for a student visa. Lively activities and classroom projects & games help campers learn English the fun way!
Details:
- All levels of English speakers, from Beginning to Advanced, are welcome, with campers assigned to one of three levels depending on their English proficiency.
- Classes integrate speaking, writing, listening, and grammar skills. Emphasis is on oral communication and vocabulary development.
- Campers will participate in active & fun communicative classes with hands-on projects based on rotating weekly themes. Projected themes for 2011 include food, sports & recreations, body & health, and travel/USA.
- Certificate of completion at end of program
- Campers enroll in 3 hours of afternoon classes following a morning participation in the boys soccer program.

Jared Vock is an IMG Soccer Academy Alumni having attended the Academy as a full-time student from 1999-2001, coming from Plymouth, MI. Jared graduated from the Academy in 2001 and received a full-scholarship to the University of South Florida and went on to finish his college eligibility at LeMoyne College. Since arriving at the IMG Soccer Academy as a full-time coach, Jared has worked with players of all ages and abilities; the players he has coach range in age from 12 all the way to the 18 year-old USDA players. Jared started his full-time coaching career at the age of 22 under the tutelage of previous IMG Soccer Director, Tom Durkin.
By any measure of success – from players produced to team success to number of college scholarships earned – the IMG Soccer Academy has proven itself as the nation’s best. Since its inception in 1994, the Academy has continually developed some of the country’s best players while also putting the caliber of teams on the field that can successfully compete in any tournament against any team at any time.
