At the crucial elementary age, young tennis players need proper instruction and encouragement to not only develop their skill, but enhance their passion for the game. By combining coaches with extensive experience working with youth tennis players and the on-campus, Pre-K -- 12 IMG Pendleton School, IMG Bollettieri can help elementary-aged tennis players become better in the classroom and on the court in a safe, diverse and fun environment. Students aged 3-8 years old are able to attend the IMG Pendleton School and participate in our Future Stars program. 

The Bollettieri Advantage

In 1978, the IMG Bollettieri Tennis Academy pioneered the concept of a "tennis training academy" and has set the standard for the industry ever since. The formula was created with total development of the player in mind - one who can perform technically, tactically, physically and mentally and become the TOTAL STUDENT ATHLETE.

Our world-class coaching staff utilizes the “Bollettieri Method” – a periodized approach to the game that has been perfected over the last 30 years. During that time we have worked with many of the world’s best athletes – Maria Sharapova, Tommy Haas, Andre Agassi – just to name a few, we have helped a countless number of students maximize their own potential. Our coaches meet daily to discuss individual player progress and ways to continually improve the program.

Students receive technical and instructional advice from Nick and his veteran staff throughout the program to apply during match play, but most training focuses on the fundamentals and joy of the game to establish interest at the young and impressionable age.

Depending on age and ability level, students will also work with IMG Bollettieri staff to find the best tournaments to play and compete in in-house Grand Prix events, as well as learning match strategy in "Nick's War Room."

IMG Pendleton School

As students are learning the game on the courts, they are also expanding their knowledge in the classroom. The on-campus IMG Pendleton School encourages creative thinking and diligence in the classroom in a convenient, safe and secure setting.

IMG Pendleton is fully accredited by SACS, FCIS, Florida Kindergarten Council and more. The school also offers English-learning programs for international students.

Program Notes: 

• Students can start at age 8 if they are non-boarding and age 11 if they are boarding
• Customized program helps your overall development and matches you with other similarly talented tennis players from around the world
• Parents and students received periodical evaluation reports; parents are actively included in student development
• The best tennis and training facilities in the world
• Train next to some of the world's top ATP and WTA players, who often come to the Academy to work on their own game
• In 2009 alone, the IMG Bollettieri Tennis Academy students' won the Junior Australian Open Boy's Title, the Junior US Open Girls' Title, and the NCAA Men's and Women's Singles Titles, as well as producing the #1 ranked junior player in the world
• In the last two years, students have earned scholarships from schools like Bucknell, Davidson, Drexel, Kentucky, Maryland, Ole Miss and more.
