The IMG Bollettieri 3-Week December/January Tennis Camps offer the ultimate training environment: practice sessions to sharpen skill, technology to refine technique and tactics, match play, IMG Performance Institute programs to help you become faster and more powerful, and beautiful Florida weather for year-round outdoor training.
With our accomplished coaching staff teaching groups with low player-to-coach ratios, no other tennis academy can deliver this caliber of instruction!
Tennis Camp Details:
- Ages 10-19 of all ability levels
- Three sessions available: December 11-31, January 1-21 and January 22-February 11
- Two camp options available: Core and the TOTAL ATHLETE (see below)
- Includes drilling, strategy sessions and practice matches
- Five-and-a-half days of training per week
- Low student-to-coach ratios
- Stroke video analysis by Dartfish, the sport’s most respected video system.
- High speed footage analysis, core movement training, and strategy sessions in “Nick’s War Room”.
- USTA on campus tournament (entry fees not included)
Three-Week Camps + TOEFL training (ages 16 and up)
Half-day of core sport camp plus 3 hours per day of TOEFL training for student-athletes preparing for English proficiency exams. Student-athletes will focus on academic listening, speaking, reading and writing. For more information regarding the TOEFL 3-week camps, click here.
Details:
- Intermediate or Advanced English speakers only.
- Prepares student-athletes for the TOEFL test that measures the ability to use and understand English at the university level (used by more than 8,000 colleges and institutions in more than 130 countries, as well as immigration departments and licensing agencies).
- Focuses on reading and writing proficiency.
- Includes three complete practice TOEFL tests.
- Allows for only morning sports participation. Afternoons are for classroom work.
Three-Week Camps + ESL classes (ages 10 -19)
Half-day of core sport camp plus 3 hours per day of English as a Second Language classes. This program is designed for short-term campers and does not qualify for a student visa. Lively activities and classroom projects & games help campers learn English the fun way!
Details:
- All levels of English speakers, from Beginning to Advanced, are welcome, with campers assigned to one of three levels depending on their English proficiency.
- Classes integrate speaking, writing, listening, and grammar skills. Emphasis is on oral communication and vocabulary development.
- Campers will participate in active & fun communicative classes with hands-on projects based on rotating weekly themes. Projected themes for 2011 include food, sports & recreations, body & health, and travel/USA.
- Certificate of completion at end of program
- Campers enroll in 3 hours of afternoon classes following a morning sport program.

With 10 worldwide No. 1-ranked players and countless more ATP and WTA players to its credit, the IMG Bollettieri Tennis Academy offers completely customized training programs to players competing in Futures, Challengers and ATP- or WTA-level tournaments. All participants of this tennis training camp must have verifiable ATP or WTA points. Upon arrival, players are evaluated and matched with others of a similar skill level.
Lambert has been with the IMG Bollettieri Tennis Academy for almost thirty-five years. First as a player and then as a coach, Lambert played a major role in the development of the tennis program at IMG Academies. He served as a traveling coach for Monica Seles, Jim Courier, and Tatiana Golovin. Lambert’s playing days were as impressive as his illustrious coaching career. He was a four-year letter winner at the University of Arkansas and went on to a professional career shortly after. He was ranked on the ATP Tour in singles and doubles for three years.
