Lacrosse + English Camps

Students who come for camp programs during the academic year will be placed into the on-going, academic preparation Intensive English Program. They will be assessed for their language ability and placed into two classes:
- Core (grammar with integrated listening, speaking and writing)
- Reading and Writing
Sport + English students will take their sport training/drilling in the morning and then attend English class from 2pm – 4:45pm every day M-F.
The TOEFL/Academic Preparation Camps are only offered during the Winter and Summer Camps.
There are two types of English Winter and/or Summer camps:
- English for Academic Purposes/ TOEFL Preparation (EAP/TOEFL)
- English as a Second Language (ESL)

| Students for the EAP/TOEFL camp will be assessed through an oral interview, a writing sample and a listening, grammar and reading test. | Students for the ESL camp will be assessed through an oral interview and a short writing sample |

IMG Lacrosse Academy camps are led by lacrosse veteran Patrick Haley. Born and raised in Maryland, Patrick has played and coached lacrosse for 20 years. He played high school lacrosse for St. Mary’s Annapolis in the powerful MIAA-A conference before playing two years at Towson University for Tony Seaman, then transferring to Florida State where he led his team in 2007 with 30 goals and 21 assists. Prior to IMG, Patrick coached at every different age group for the La Jolla Lacrosse Club in San Diego, CA, where he played for top team Quicksilver Lacrosse Club.
