After Graduating from the University of Tampa, with a degree in Sports Medicine/Athletic Training she moved to West Palm Beach to work for Gold Coast Physical Therapy and started as the Head Athletic Trainer for the Pahokee Blue Devils. Later that year she moved back to the west coast of Florida and started working at All Florida Orthopedics, in St. Petersburg as an Athletic Trainer. There she specialized in brace fitting, casting, and pre-and post operative treatment. In May of 2011 Kaitlyn came to IMG Academy to work as an Assistant Athletic Trainer.
