IMG Academies has a rich tradition in the world of performance training and education.  We equate this to the simple fact that we practice what we preach. We instruct world-class athletes not only to endure an event, but to dominate it. We take this same attitude and apply it to assessing and developing our own methodology and staff. Through the latest research, education and constant applied practice, we impact performance every single day and continually redefine the definition of “BEST PRACTICES”.

Many of the world’s finest coaches and specialists have learned and consulted with The IMG Performance Institute to better apply their craft. The IMG Performance Institute encourages professional development through various means, including supervised hands-on experiences, performance consulting as well as conferences and seminars.

Hands-on Supervised Experience:

The IMG Performance Institute presents opportunities for competitive summer internships and spring and fall semester graduate assistantships in all divisions of the IMG Performance Institute. We offer exceptional training and opportunities for applied experience that emphasizes education, support and application. Our goal is to provide the experience and tools necessary to further a career in the world of applied sports performance.

  • Physical conditioning  (Strength Training) 
  • Mental conditioning
  • Communication by game on
  • Athletic Training/Sports Therapy
  • Nutrition
  • Sport/Business Management
  • Sport Marketing/Media

Internship and Grad Assistantship Periods            Application Deadline
January – May                                                           November 1st
Mid-June – Mid-August                                              March 15th
September – December                                             July 1st

We receive numerous applicants annually and encourage interested individuals to apply early. Specific dates during these months are TBD.
