Intensive English Program (IEP)
The IEP is a full-time academic program designed for full-time Academy students who wish to spend 1 or 2 semesters improving their English before transitioning to an American middle- or high- school, or post-grad participants who wish to prepare for university English including TOEFL preparation. Students take 4 hours of English per day either in the morning or the afternoon according to their sport schedule. The IEP is recommended for ages 10 through adult. Students who apply to IMG Pendleton who do not meet the required English proficiency may be placed in the IEP at the Director’s discretion before beginning to accrue American school credit towards graduation.
The Intensive English Program requires a F-1 student visa or other eligible non-immigrant visas. The IEP cannot be taken on a tourist (B1/B2) visa.
Before applying for a student visa, you will need to request an I-20 after submitting a copy of your passport and a letter from your bank stating you have sufficient funds to study in the USA.

The IMG College Planning and Placement Center works with all students including post-graduates to create an individualized roadmap to reach their goal of studying and playing their sport at the collegiate level. This work begins upon a student’s entry into high school (grade 9) and incorporates families, coaches, and university admissions and athletic staff in their efforts.
