Full-Time Admissions Procedures

IMG Academies looks for student-athletes who are hardworking and dedicated both in their sport and in life. Closely reviewed are personal characteristics, school performance, and individual sport history, ability, and attitude. 1. Complete the IMG Academies Full-Time Application Form which contains the resume to be completed by applicant and two recommendation forms to be completed by a coach, teacher, family friend/neighbor, clergy, etc. and return it to Carolina Murphy at the address listed below:

2. Once all required paperwork is received, an interview with Carolina Murphy, Admissions Director, will be arranged with applicant. Ideally this interview would take place during a one-week program at the Academy. During that time you will have the opportunity to acquaint yourself with our environment by meeting our coaches and staff, participate in your sport program, look at the student housing options and visit the academic schools. This experience will allow you to get a feel for the training and lifestyle of our full time students. It will also give you an understanding of the level of commitment we expect from our student athletes. If you are unable to attend in person, we will coordinate a phone interview upon completion of the application.

3. Once an interview is completed and all paperwork is in order, an acceptance letter will be sent together with the Tuition Deposit Agreement that must be completed and returned together with the required $4000 deposit. Please complete the enrollment form in full, and indicate the housing option of your choice. A list of housing options can be found here. Please also choose the payment option you would like to follow.

4. Upon receipt of the Tuititon Deposit Agreement, we will mail or email a Tuition Enrollment Agreement, Registration Forms and Health Forms that will need to be completed and returned.

5. Once we have received the Tuition Enrollment Agreement each sport will mail or email a Sport Specific Informational Packet.

Weekly Junior Program Procedures

1. Determine program arrival and departure dates. Keep in mind that programs, boarding and non-boarding, are offered year-round and have limited space.

2. Complete the Weekly Registration Form and either fax it to (941) 752-2531 or email it to netsales@imgworld.com. Once the registration form has been returned, a sales representative will contact you with a confirmation letter and the remainder of the weekly registration packet. All forms must be completed and returned 30 days prior to participation in the program. If a reservation is made within 30 days of arrival all forms are required to be completed and returned prior to participation in the program.

OR

Complete and return the Weekly Registration Form and the entire Weekly Junior Confirmation Packet, which includes:

  • Consent for Treatment
  • Student Health Form
  • Junior Waiver
  • Transportation Form
  • Student Bank Form

Once registration forms have been returned, a confirmation letter will be sent.

Adult Program Procedures
