No program in the world has won as many junior tournaments, generated as many college scholarships or put as many players on professional tours than the IMG Leadbetter Golf Academy.

However, students not only learn the game of golf, but they receive an equally strong education from an accredited on-campus school for all ages -- IMG Pendleton School. The combination of thorough golf instruction and demanding academics allows our student-athletes to differentiate themselves from their peers due to the fact that college administrators understand the rigors of IMG Academies and how it prepares our students for the next level as they become the TOTAL STUDENT-ATHLETE.

A periodization approach to the technical, physical, course management and mental elements of training enables the IMG Leadbetter Golf Academy to produce skilled, motivated, athletic golfers who thrive in the competitive arena. The IMG Leadbetter Golf Academy, hosting golfers from around the world, is the most unique training experience available.

At the IMG Leadbetter Golf Academy, student-athletes are subjected to a demanding program and schedule where young men and women learn to unleash their full potential in an encouraging environment of success and excellence.

IMG Pendleton School

With experienced teachers, challenging classes, creative coursework, low student-to-teacher ratios and an encouraging learning environment all in the heart of the IMG Academies' campus, IMG Pendleton offers the ultimate in preparation for college. 

By offering extra evening sessions with teachers, Web-based courses in addition to the "typical" classroom setting, "My Backpack" online program to increase communication between students, parents, teachers and staff, IMG Pendleton fully integrates with the athletic schedule to strike a perfect balance of school and sports.

Sample Daily Schedule

The junior schedule varies from day to day. Most days students spend from 3-3.5 hours a day with a golf instructor. Each group plays 2-3 times a week (not including the weekend). While at the range all aspects of the game, which includes video analysis, drill work, routines, shaping shots and short games are covered. Most tournaments and travel take place on the weekends. Students have the option of attending school in the morning or afternoon.

PERFORMANCE ELECTIVES

The TOTAL ATHLETE is someone who maximizes his or her full potential across all dimensions of performance. Someone who refuses to sacrifice academics for athletics — or vice versa.

Becoming the TOTAL ATHLETE, however, takes time and commitment. The earlier a student-athlete enrolls at IMG Academies during his or her prep years, the more time they will have to learn, grow, develop and experience all that IMG Academies has to offer, helping them become confident that they can take on the world during their journey through life.
