The IMG Basketball Academy provides the most unique training environment in the world of basketball today. We focus on the individual player, building skill sets from the ground up by giving players the tools they need to compete agaisnt higher level competition. Teaching both fundamental and advanced techniques and tactics, our coaching staff is able to bring out the best in each athlete.

The IMG Basketball Academy emphasizes a unqiue formula for success to maximize results. The same coaching specialists that work on the floor with NBA All-Stars also work with all IMG Basketball Academy players, creating a training environment that is second-to-none. Already utilized by NBA pros, college stars and continually improving youth and teenage players, the IMG Basketball Academy's system will undoubtedly help your game.

The Post-Graduate Program operates on a seven-month schedule (September-March) to prepare young men and women for collegiate athletics after they have graduates from a tradtional high school. The program is optimized to provide the best in basketball training while enhancing the college recruitment opportunities of the athlete. Students may also prepare for college entrance exams or take courses for college credit during this period.

Competition includes (but is not limited to) top junior colleges and high-level prep tournaments around the nation. Athletes participate in two on-court workouts per day along with daily athletic performance training. Additionally, they receive mentorship and guidance in the college recruitment and selection process. Underclassmen continue to focus on individual skill training. Our staff at the IMG Basketball Academy works with each player to plan a summer schedule for individual training, summer camps, tournaments and leages that will provide maximum opportunity for improvement, development, and exposure in the summer months.

Program Notes:

  • Work with the same IMG Basketball Academy and Pro Training Center staff members who train NBA players and professionals at every level.
  • Participate in the same professional training program used by dozens of current NBA and international players, as well as by college players at all levels of the game.
  • Increase college scholarship opportunities through extensive exposure.  
  • College coaches and professional scouts attend at training sessions, workouts and competitive events regularly.
  • Compete nationwide against post graduate and junior college teams in games, tournaments and special events.
  • Improve individual and team skills through twice-a-day on-court workouts.
  • Train with the same specialists from the IMG Performance Institute that work with the game's biggest stars and become stronger, quicker and more explosive.
  • Benefit from IMG Academies' Mental Conditioning program, which assists players in all phases of mental preparation for maximum performance.
  • Participate in game on – our world-renowned program used by professional athletes in all sports to develop interpersonal communication and media skills.

Athletic Development Plans (ADP's)
The IMG Performance Institute offers Athletic Development Plans that provide a customized plan that focuses on individual unique needs. Imagine having your own personal total athletic development team. The world’s best athletes do, and so can you.

Facilities: Daily training sessions and home games will take place in our on-site, 32,000 square foot, air conditioned basketball center including two side-by-side NBA regulation game courts, 12 total baskets (portable and stationary), mounted scoreboards, training area for movement exercises with artificial turf, four-lane track, and training hill.
