Program Outline II Schedule
College basketball players at all levels come to the IMG Basketball Academy to expand and develop their games in preparation for their collegiate seasons. From upperclassmen preparing for a breakout year, to an incoming freshman learning how to be a college player, our staff provides players with the knowledge, skills and training regimen to get the most out of their college basketball careers.
Our staff will focus on the individual player, creating a customized program to maximize development and expand each player’s game. Every college player receives a detailed analysis of strengths and weaknesses, as well as a progressive plan for continued development throughout his college basketball season.
Our all-encompassing plan of on-court skill development and athletic performance, as well as nutritional education and off-court programs, give players the most detailed and comprehensive plan available for the enhancement of their college basketball careers.
Program Highlights / Features
- Two on-court, position-specific and general basketball skills workouts per day
- One athletic performance workout per day under the supervision of the IMG Performance Institute
- Nutritional education, planning and monitoring
- IMGA’s Mental Conditioning Division – assists players with areas of focus, concentration, and confidence to create sustained maximum performance
- game on – our world-renowned interpersonal communication program, develops confidence and marketability in dealing with the public and the media
- State-of-the-art Basketball Center – Two NBA Regulation Full Courts (12 Baskets and teaching stations)
- NBA-specification cushioned floor and playing surface
- World-class 15,000 square foot athletic performance center / weight room
- On-campus athletic training center with full-time staff
- On-campus sports therapy / physical therapy clinic with full-time staff
- On-campus Wellness Spa – sports and deep tissue massage and full body treatments available
- On-Campus medical clinic with full-time doctor and nursing staff
- On-campus dining room – meals nutritionally planned for sports performance
