Pricing and Optimization II

Game experience and 5-on-5 competitive play are an essential part of a player’s development.  IMG Basketball Academy provides three weeks of game play, training and competition in our three week Summer League program.  This program is offered in June and in August, allowing players an additional opportunity for game experience outside of their July travel schedules.

Players will play an 18 game regular season schedule and championship tournament over three weeks, while receiving the individual and team training that mirrors our successful full-time program.   Summer league participants train and practice in preparation for game play, learning from our IMG Basketball Full-Time staff that has trained multitudes of NBA players, high level college players and rising high school stars at every level.

While playing in our IMG Basketball Summer League, players will receive individual and team instruction, focused game preparation, and lectures and demonstrations on strategy and tactics – all designed to maximize performance in 5-on-5 competition. 

 All games are video taped, statistics are compiled, and players will receive a DVD copy of every game for analysis and use in recruiting.   Players also participate in our college recruiting seminar, which educates young players on college placement and assists families in navigating the recruiting process.

Each summer league player will also complete our state of the art C360 profile, which evaluates athletes in Physical Conditioning, Vision Training, Communication, Nutrition and Mental Conditioning.

Upon arrival, players participate in an evaluation process, are drafted into teams, and begin team preparation for a highly competitive 18-game schedule over three weeks.   A six day training week is planned, with a day off each week for rest and relaxation.
