IN A NUTSHELL: Cukic has been in the United States for two years, playing one year in Greensburg (Pa.) before spending a year at the IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla. He has good size and strength for a true freshman and can consistently hit the midrange shot. He can expect immediate playing time and will have to learn on the fly given the team’s sparse number of post players.
