The “ IMG Wood Bat League” offers the most unique high school league in the country, with 120 select prep players competing throughout the summer in seven weeks of intense training and baseball. Players reach their potential by developing in a comprehensive environment (proven ratio of games to training sessions is 50:50) that includes games, practices, and strength/speed workouts.  The physical and mental training is unmatched at the IMG Performance Institute and will help players gain strength and speed, while increasing confidence and mental toughness.

Program Details

  • 8 Team Wood Bat League with a 25 + regular season/tournament game schedule
  • Coaches with professional and/or collegiate experience
  • College Recruiting Showcase and Seminar
  • All areas of the game are thoroughly addressed on the field, in the classroom and in game situations.
  • Each player will be evaluated, assessed and tested to determine strengths and weaknesses.
  • Regimen includes strength conditioning, flexibility, speed, regeneration, mental efficiency, and nutritional performance programs.
  • In additon to the performance training provided in the Wood Bat League, the IMG Performance Insitute offers supplemental programs in the following disciplines:
        - Physical Conditioning
        - Mental Conditioning
        - Communication Training by game on
        -     Vision Training
        - Nutrition Training
        - SAT Prep by College Advantage
  • World class facilities including covered batting cages with ProBatter Sports simulator.
  • Comprehensive video analysis software used for hitting and pitching mechanics.
  • C360 Testing performed by IPI Performance Specialist
  • Weekly one-on-one hitting sessions.
