IMG Baseball Academy post-grad student headed to Central Alabama
IMG Baseball Academy post-graduate student, Tripp Whatley, is headed to Central Alabama Community College to play baseball

Five area players, including former Catholic standout Tripp Whatley, signed scholarships with Central Alabama Community College last Monday night at the Next Level Baseball Complex in Montgomery.
Whatley, a third baseman, now attends the IMG Baseball Academy In Bradenton, Fla.
The other players are Wilson Adams, pitcher, St. James; Skylar McKeown, pitcher, Fort Dale Academy; Derek Deates, pitcher, Prattville High; and Jalin Lawson, infielder/pitcher, Charles Henderson.
All the players are seniors except for Whatley, who is a post-grad taking college courses while training at IMG.

Since 2006 Jason’s off-field tasks include operational issues such as marketing, sales, scheduling, and contracting as well as a focus on revenue generation. He is currently the coach of the Varsity Team and he is also Commissioner of the Wood Bat Leagues. His on field duties include working with the outfielders, hitters, and baserunners. Jason is a proven leader of successful baseball players at all levels and excels at teaching the game the right way with passion and consistency. Jason received his BA in Business Administration from Baldwin-Wallace College and a MBA in Marketing from Youngstown State University.
