Former Ponte Vedra baseball player Max Foody signs with FSU

Former Ponte Vedra baseball player Max Foody signed a national letter of intent Friday to play for Florida State.
After originally committing to Florida, Foody suffered a torn labrum, and the offer was withdrawn. Foody left Ponte Vedra after his sophomore season and transferred to IMG Academies in Bradenton. Foody is a left-handed pitcher who was named a Perfect Game Underclass First Team All-American. He played designated hitter for the 2010 Ponte Vedra team that advanced to the state semifinals.

He is currently the coach of the Varsity Team and he is also Commissioner of the Wood Bat Leagues. His on field duties include working with the outfielders, hitters, and baserunners. Jason is a proven leader of successful baseball players at all levels and excels at teaching the game the right way with passion and consistency. Jason received his BA in Business Administration from Baldwin-Wallace College and a MBA in Marketing from Youngstown State University.
