Kit Carlson joined the IMG Academy in 2008 and is responsible for Baseball Camp and League Sales.
In 1991 Carlson began coaching his son in Little League in Southern California. Moving to Florida in 2000, he coached in both 14U and 16U travel divisions. Additionally he was a member of the Board of Directors, Director of Player Development, and supervised the upper divisions of Southwest County Little League (now West Boca Youth Baseball). In 2002 and 2003 he coached with the South Florida Bombers, a team that in 2002 was the AABC/Mickey Mantle 16U Florida State Co-Champions.
In 2005 he began coaching at the varsity level at Olympic Heights High School, followed by a year at West Boca High School in 2008.

Originally from Virginia Beach, Virginia. He has been married to his wife Kristi since 1983. They lived in Orange County, California for 17 years before moving to Florida in 2000.

Since 2006 Jason’s off-field tasks include operational issues such as marketing, sales, scheduling, and contracting as well as a focus on revenue generation. He is currently the coach of the Varsity Team and he is also Commissioner of the Wood Bat Leagues. His on field duties include working with the outfielders, hitters, and baserunners. Jason is a proven leader of successful baseball players at all levels and excels at teaching the game the right way with passion and consistency. Jason received his BA in Business Administration from Baldwin-Wallace College and a MBA in Marketing from Youngstown State University.
