IMG Baseball Academy Director Ken Bolek previously coached for 13 years at every level of professional baseball including the Major Leagues (Houston Astros, Cleveland Indians, Chicago Cubs), as well as at the NCAA Division I level.
Bolek has spent the past 15 years developing a program that provides amateur athletes with a professional training environment, and professionals with a place to call home in the off-season. Designed to help every player realize his full potential, both on and off the field, the Academy is home to players from more than 26 states and 11 foreign countries, nearly 100% of whom attend college upon graduation. Bolek’s staff consists of coaches who have taught at every level of the game including the Major Leagues, and who are dedicated to a long-term athletic development program that can bring students to elite status.
The IMG Baseball Academy has a true international flavor and over the years Bolek and his staff have worked with notable first-round picks Aaron Sele, Nomar Garciaparra, Gary Sheffield, Adam Dunn, Vernon Wells, Ben Sheets, Pat Burrell, Josh Hamilton, Mike Cuddyer, Chris Perez, Mark Teahan, and Freddy Bynum. Other notable MLB players include Jamie Moyer, Mark Buehrle, Felix Pie, Ryan Zimmerman, J.R. Murphy, Carlos Quentin and Joey Votto.

Every offseason, many of the top MLB, NCAA and high school baseball teams travel to Florida for the mix of immaculate weather and ideal training. With 3 full-size diamonds, 2 infield training diamonds, multiple batting cages and practice mounds, pitcher-simulation machine and the sport’s top video analysis program, the IMG Baseball Academy has all of the tools to help players at every position and any age group.
Since 2006 Jason’s off-field tasks include operational issues such as marketing, sales, scheduling, and contracting as well as a focus on revenue generation. He is currently the coach of the Varsity Team and he is also Commissioner of the Wood Bat Leagues. His on field duties include working with the outfielders, hitters, and baserunners. Jason is a proven leader of successful baseball players at all levels and excels at teaching the game the right way with passion and consistency. Jason received his BA in Business Administration from Baldwin-Wallace College and a MBA in Marketing from Youngstown State University.
