If you want to train how the professionals train, the IMG Baseball Academy’s 3-Week December/January Baseball Camps are for you.
By offering immaculate fields, position-specific instruction, video analysis to break down mechanics, the sport’s top technology and IMG Performance Institute supplemental programs, you will increase your skill while becoming stronger, faster and more confident on the field.
Baseball Camp Details:
- For athletes ages 12-22 of all ability levels
- Two sessions available: January 1-21 and January 22-Feburary 11
- Two camp options available: Core and THE TOTAL ATHLETE (see below)
- Each player will be evaluated, assessed and tested to determine strengths and weaknesses
- World-class facilities including covered batting cages with ProBatter Sports simulator
- Comprehensive Dartfish video analysis used for hitting and pitching mechanics
- Wood bat training to refine swing mechanics
- Position-specific instruction, including:
o Individual batting mechanics analysis
o Bunting
o Athletic skills development
o Base running, sliding, stealing
o Circuit training
o Situational Hitting
o Fielding instruction
o Pitching and catching instruction

Three-Week Camps + TOEFL training (ages 16 and up)
Half-day of core sport camp plus 3 hours per day of TOEFL training for student-athletes preparing for English proficiency exams. Student-athletes will focus on academic listening, speaking, reading and writing. For more information regarding the TOEFL 3-week camps, click here.
Details:
- Intermediate or Advanced English speakers only.
- Prepares student-athletes for the TOEFL test that measures the ability to use and understand English at the university level (used by more than 8,000 colleges and institutions in more than 130 countries, as well as immigration departments and licensing agencies).
- Focuses on reading and writing proficiency.
- Includes three complete practice TOEFL tests.
- Allows for only morning sports participation. Afternoons are for classroom work.
Three-Week Camps + ESL classes (ages 10 -19)
Half-day of core sport camp plus 3 hours per day of English as a Second Language classes. This program is designed for short-term campers and does not qualify for a student visa. Lively activities and classroom projects & games help campers learn English the fun way!
Details:
- All levels of English speakers, from Beginning to Advanced, are welcome, with campers assigned to one of three levels depending on their English proficiency.
- Classes integrate speaking, writing, listening, and grammar skills. Emphasis is on oral communication and vocabulary development.
- Campers will participate in active & fun communicative classes with hands-on projects based on rotating weekly themes. Projected themes for 2011 include food, sports & recreations, body & health, and travel/USA.
- Certificate of completion at end of program
- Campers enroll in 3 hours of afternoon classes following a morning sport program.

Every offseason, many of the top MLB, NCAA and high school baseball teams travel to Florida for the mix of immaculate weather and ideal training. With 3 full-size diamonds, 2 infield training diamonds, multiple batting cages and practice mounds, pitcher-simulation machine and the sport’s top video analysis program, the IMG Baseball Academy has all of the tools to help players at every position and any age group.
Since 2006 Jason’s off-field tasks include operational issues such as marketing, sales, scheduling, and contracting as well as a focus on revenue generation. He is currently the coach of the Varsity Team and he is also Commissioner of the Wood Bat Leagues. His on field duties include working with the outfielders, hitters, and baserunners. Jason is a proven leader of successful baseball players at all levels and excels at teaching the game the right way with passion and consistency. Jason received his BA in Business Administration from Baldwin-Wallace College and a MBA in Marketing from Youngstown State University.
