3-Week Baseball Summer Camps
If you don't have a full summer to devote to development, the IMG Baseball Academy's 3-Week baseball summer camps provide comprehensive instruction in a convenient time frame.
With four camps available this summer, you can experience three weeks of a core baseball training camp that thoroughly addresses all areas for successful baseball on the field, in the classroom, and in game situations, and the ability to upgrade to THE TOTAL ATHLETE baseball training camp to accelerate your athletic and character development..
Dartfish video analysis is utilized to break down pitching and hitting mechanics. A variety of drills, practice sessions, and situational games are part of each week’s schedule. Add to the summer baseball training on-campus activities and off-campus supervised trips to some of Florida’s top amenities makes the IMG Baseball Academy the nation’s top baseball summer camp destination.
All baseball summer camps, regardless of length, features a Core baseball training program that includes baseball instruction plus group physical conditioning and mental conditioning with performance specialists. TOTAL ATHLETE training programs are designed to help facilitate increased development and higher performance with one extra hour per day of small-group training in the following: mental toughness, nutrition, speed/movement, communication and vision/reaction.

Baseball Summer Camp Details
- Ages 12-22
- Four sessions available: May 27-June 16, June 17-July 7, July 8-July 28 and July 29-August 18
- All campers receive three weeks of the core baseball camp plus the option of upgrading to THE TOTAL ATHLETE baseball camp
- Each player will be evaluated, assessed and tested to determine strengths and weaknesses
- Physical and Mental Conditioning sessions led by IMG Performance Institute specialists
- World-class facilities including covered batting cages with ProBatter Sports simulator
- Comprehensive Dartfish video analysis used for hitting and pitching mechanics
- Wood bat training to refine swing mechanics
On-field skill work includes:
- Individual batting mechanics analysis
- Bunting
- Athletic skills development
- Base running, sliding, stealing
- Circuit training
- Situational Hitting
- Fielding instruction
- Pitching and catching instruction
Baseball and Education This Summer!
Utilize the versatile and unique qualities of IMG Academies by signing up for the Baseball and Education summer camp. IMG Academies is offering the opportunity for players to attend training and get ahead with SAT prep classes, ESL classes or TOEFL prep classes.
The comprehensive schedule over a three (3) week period allows a player to experience what being an Academy Program student-athlete at IMG is like by completing coursework and a rigorous Baseball training curriculum. It is designed for players who need to accomplish necessary tasks for school, while also wanting to have fun and improve their game. The weekday schedule includes Baseball training and class work in the afternoon with the weekends free to enjoy the surrounding attractions and experience the IMG environment for athletes.
3-Week Baseball Summer Camp + SAT/College Prep
College admission is more competitive than ever before. Just as you wouldn’t enter a competition without practicing, you shouldn’t take the SAT or ACT without knowing exactly what you’ll encounter on the test. With a half day of Baseball and a half day of SAT preparation, you’ll be ready to achieve a better score and improve your chances of gaining entrance to your college of choice.
The SAT/College Prep class is taught for four hours per day in small class sizes. It covers all the SAT/ACT topics including Algebra, Geometry, Vocabulary, Reading Comprehension, Grammar, Rhetorical Writing, Current Events and Writing and Style.
3-Week Baseball Summer Camp + English Options
IMG Academies offers two options for our international participants who wish to improve their English and their sport at the same time.
- Academic English/TOEFL Prep + Sport Camp: For participants age 15-19 who wish to prepare for an exam in their home country or for entrance into an American university. After a half-day of sports exercises and drills, participants will study reading/writing, academic test preparation and practice, sample TOEFL exams, and develop their advanced English skills.
- English as a Second Language/ESL + Sport Camp: For participants 8 – 19, a half-day of sport drills and a half-day of fun English activities focusing on vocabulary development. Fun interactive activities are combined with field trips and weekly vocabulary/grammar units on topics of general interest such as sports and recreation, food , health, the environment and travel.

Every offseason, many of the top MLB, NCAA and high school baseball teams travel to Florida for the mix of immaculate weather and ideal training. With 3 full-size diamonds, 2 infield training diamonds, multiple batting cages and practice mounds, pitcher-simulation machine and the sport’s top video analysis program, the IMG Baseball Academy has all of the tools to help players at every position and any age group.
Since 2006 Jason’s off-field tasks include operational issues such as marketing, sales, scheduling, and contracting as well as a focus on revenue generation. He is currently the coach of the Varsity Team and he is also Commissioner of the Wood Bat Leagues. His on field duties include working with the outfielders, hitters, and baserunners. Jason is a proven leader of successful baseball players at all levels and excels at teaching the game the right way with passion and consistency. Jason received his BA in Business Administration from Baldwin-Wallace College and a MBA in Marketing from Youngstown State University.
