Pendleton I St. Stephen's

Pendleton School at IMG Academies

The on-campus Pendleton at IMG Academies Middle School program provides students a supportive environment for social and emotional development, while establishing a strong academic foundation for high school.

A flexible schedule allows students to mold their classes around athletic training sessions, games and/or tournaments when needed. Because it is located on the IMG Academies campus, Pendleton provides a convenient and safe location for our busy student-athletes.

The Middle School instructional team is dedicated to meeting the needs of each student through coordination with parents, coaches and the student mentor. The Middle School curriculum consists of language arts, math, science, social science and foreign language.

An English Language Learners (ELL) program helps international students learn how to better speak, write and understand the English language. This requires that learners use English, including written English, in their schoolwork. ELL students accept the challenge to learn and compete academically with native English speaking students.

For students with documented learning differences who may need extra academic support, the Learning Resource Center assists with study skills, parent-teacher-administration-coach collaboration, help in completing assignments/projects, and individualized attention. A learning specialist meets with the student several times per week.

St. Stephen's Episcopal School

IMG students have the option of attending Saint Stephen's Episcopal School’s Middle School in grades seven and eight.  Saint Stephen’s is located a few minutes away from the IMG campus, and is housed in a new L.E.E.D. “green” building.  A strong academic program provides the middle school student with the tools needed to experience academic success.  Local community service and cultural experiences with Africa and China enhance the traditional curriculum and expand understanding about the world at large.  Depending on scheduling, an IMG student may also explore art, music, language, and participate on our sports teams.  Saint Stephen’s provides transportation to and from IMG.  In addition to frequent teacher/student/parent communication, an online assignment/grade book program allows students and parents access to grades and assignments.
